Muhammad Ali, mankini and making tea and coffee… and other things you’ll learn about our Chief Commercial Officer!
Meet the team behind the scenes at Laundrapp in our flash Q&A. They describe how their role takes effect in the business and the favourite things they get up to in their spare time.
Meet Jack, one of our talented tea and coffee makers … Hailing from Sussex, he has been with Laundrapp for 2 years and describes working in Laundrapp as akin to a roller coaster.
I am… Chief Commercial Officer for Laundrapp, which means I am responsible for driving business growth – but basically I meddle in every department.
When I’m not being Chief Commercial Officer for Laundrapp, I like… To cook and ski and play the guitar (badly).
If I described my lifestyle in one word, it would be…A mix of weekday dedication to growing Laundrapp and weekend time with my family (1 wife, 2 children, 1 dog and 2 guinea pigs).
My working style is… Results driven. If something is not achieved every day, it was wasted.
The one memory I most treasure… Work wise: finding the new offices – I knew immediately it would be a great environment for us – professional yet creative.
The most prized garment in my wardrobe… Some may argue my bright pink mankini – I would say a pair of Church’s shoes. They cost a small fortune and I wear them so much that they need re-soling every 5 months – but they are so comfortable.
The weirdest talent I have is… Downing a pint in 3 seconds.
I don’t like… Shellfish, commuting and rude people.
But I love… Haggis, Laundrapp and kind people.
I’m a fan of… Muhammad Ali.
The characteristic I most admire in others is… Thoughtfulness of others.
My favourite hangout/place is… By the sea.
If I had one superpower, I would choose… To be able to teleport (and therefore avoid the daily 4 hour commute).
