Meet the Laundrapp Team - Teemu Ceder

1. Who are you? What do you do at Laundrapp?

My name is Teemu and I’m the Customer Care Manager. I make sure our customer service department provides a great customer experience to everyone, everyday!

2. How long have you lived in London? What do you love most about it?

I’ve only lived in London since April. I was born and raised in Helsinki, Finland – land of nightless summers, snow, and the northern lights.

3. Be honest. What’s been your biggest laundry or fashion disaster?

My biggest fashion disaster was probably a leather jacket with a zipper on the side. It cost £250.00 but I only ended up wearing it three times. It was too hot in the summer and too cold in winter – plus it weighed about 10 kg. Oh, and I didn’t even own a motorbike.

My biggest laundry disaster was when I was a kid. I tried to surprise my parents by doing the laundry, but I didn’t separate the items. Those clothes never got worn again – but at least I surprised them!

4. Any top-tips you’d like to share?

Don’t buy clothes you’re not 100% sure you want. If you need to think about whether to buy it or not, don’t do it. Sleep on it and if you still want it in the morning, well, then it’s probably something you really want.
And stay clear of counterfeit clothes too. They’re not worth it.

5. What do you like most about working at Laundrapp?

I love the atmosphere here – there’s a real ‘let’s make it happen’ attitude that everyone in the office has in common.

6. Finally, what’s your favourite way to get messy?

That’s easy – I love cooking, but it’s not uncommon for me to demolish the whole kitchen when executing my revolutionary culinary designs. I don’t love cleaning up afterwards but luckily that’s where Laundrapp comes in.
